I went to this school from K-6 grade. It is the BEST school! It had the most wonderful teachers. Our principal Dr. Dodge, was the most amazing man. The day he passed and left this earth, sure left an emptiness in all of us. Mr. Kahl was by far the best teacher ever! I am 42 years old and I have the fondest memories of this school I live in another state, but wish my son could have experienced the wonderful things that I did at Madison. I am now 42.....

In 2007-2008 North Dakota used the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in reading and math, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 11. The results for reading and math for all grades combined are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Results represent students enrolled in the school for the entire academic year. The NDSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering the specific skills defined for each grade by the state of North Dakota. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
