I am a former student of Jennings, and it was the best 3 years of my life. I had a great classes, great friends and, great teachers. My last year at the school was in 2007-2008, which we moved into the new building. I loved in, we all did. This is a school I would defiantly place my child into (If i had one, i am a freshman class of 2012 ya). But i would have to admit that the food could be better, but then again no school food is great. I got a great education I was an honor student all 3 years, as well as my 1st year of high school.

Jennings has just built a brand new school and it is awesome. The children are placed ion classes according to their level. They are not held back. I feel the school needs to work on the children getting along more.

I believe that extracurricular activities should be part of the school picture. It teaches responsibility, team work and can provide added creative stimulation. PE is should be a given course for all the middle school students. The kids need the physical activity! To set in a chair all day and not expect the students to get punchy is rediculous....Parents would be more involved if there was something to attend, and better yet, why not have a Jennings calender of events that we parents may reference??? The female students should be allowed to bring a purse to school...(for obvious reasons, that time of the month) Lets not make the schools a prison. Better nutrition, real food!!

Jennings School has not been the best learning environment for my children. This school is struggling with gang issues. Also the slower kids along with the higher achieving ones dont get the classes they need. The teachers are constantly changing.
