We've had three children go through this school (from pre-primary through fifth grade) and we are quite happy and satisfied with the teachers, administrators, other students, and most importantly the education and skills they have developed at Discovery Montessori. Thanks to the guidance, efforts, and dedication of the staff our kids have consistently tested above grade level in all subjects. The youngest is in her last year there and while we're happy she's well prepared for her transition to further schooling we shall miss Discovery. Our older children (now in 10th and 8th grades) have never received less than an 'A' in any class in public schools. Certainly they're bright kids, but the foundational education, and perhaps most importantly the self-motivational skills that they received at Discovery, have helped them continue to be successful students.

It's a great school. I liked the Toddler and preschool teachers. They give lot of individual attention. my son would sit next to his teacher and she would always listen to him sooooo patiently. Never seen such wonderful teacher- kid bonding elsewhere.

My son has attend this school since he was 3 years old. I feel he is getting a superior education and there is no other school in the area the has the diversity this school has. I do wish they had more extracurricular activities. There is great parent involvement.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
