A great close-knit school. Wonderful PTO, teachers that really care about not only the students but the families as well. Test scores in the 'effective' and above range. Uniform policy, which cuts down on a lot of the bullying in today's schools. No-tolerance policy for bullies. A discipline program that parents play a role in. Plenty of opportunity for parent involvement.
I have had two students go through Thomas Jefferson, one is currently enrolled in the fifth grade. I give this school an overall A! While there are a few problems with a couple of teachers,a custodian and a lunch-aide, the rest of the staff is the best in thier feild{'s.}The few times that I have had a concern , it has been addressed promptly.
