Morrison is an outstanding school! The academic program is challenging, which is exactly what we want for our children. We have been extremely impressed with the music and art programs that are annual traditions at Morrison. Whenever I meet a parent moving to Athens, I strongly recommend this school.
Morrison has the best principle and teachers any school could ever have! They strive on excellent education! All three of my kids attend Morrison and love it!
Two of my children have gone through Morrison Elementary School. One is now a junior at Otterbein College and has been on the Dean's list every quarter since starting there. The other is a senior in high school and is applying to colleges. Both have received a good fundamental education from Morrison. I also have a kindergartner at Morrison. We do not live in the school district where Morrison is and our children have to transfer. I have found it very easy to be an involved parent while my kids have attended Morrison.
Their reputation is excellent throughout the state and their teachers are exceptional. It's a friendly school and seems like a large family, rather than an institution.
Our experience at Morrison has been simply excellent. We have found a positive, friendly atmosphere, a challenging curriculum, and enjoyable times overall! We have 2 kids at this school, and both have had equally positive experiences.
This school is just amazing! We are so very happy to be a part of it. We had a terrible first year experience at another school and moved our child to Morrison. We are SO glad we did. They turned it all around for him (he lost some self confidence from the terrible experiences of the first school). He loves school now and wants to go every day, including the weekends! All of the teachers we've encountered have been very nice and seem to love what they do. It shows in the kids! The school is inviting, they integrate technology (and nature) very well, and encourage the children to be themselves and have fun learning. They have set rules and everyone knows the consequences if they are broken. The kids flourish and they love parent involvement. They provide tons of communication to parents and want our feedback. WE LOVE IT HERE!
