VCA is the hidden gem of Cleveland and Akron suburbs! Not only are the acedemics excellent, but the faculty and staff are kind, warm and at the head of the class when it comes to teaching skills. I couldn't ask for a better envirnment for my children to learn not only life skills and lessons but to do so with in a Christ-centric environment.

This is the best academic school, as well as the best Christian school, we've ever experienced even having come from many '10' rated public schools. There is a level of excellence mixed with grace and the children excel to the best of their ability. My hope is that we will find the same type of environment for our children if we move.

An excellent Christian elementary school. The teachers are wonderful and the individual student's needs are always put first. Classes are taught from a Christian worldview, which is invaluable. Students are not only well-prepared for any college-prep high school, but well-prepared for life in general. In addition to the 3 R's the students are taught to care for others and to put others' needs first. Well worth every penny and highly recommended!!!

The academics are top notch with the kids exceding national averages by at least 2 grades. The school used to be k-6, but now has a 7th grade and is adding 8th grade for 2007. The music program is taught by professionals. Sports teams and intramurals are fantastic. Drama club is new and exciting for the kids. Parent involvement is encouraged and loved by the teachers. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Christian experience is at this school. My oldest has learned to do hands on ministry instead of just learning about it.

This is a Christian elementary school in Aurora, Ohio. It has a good Christian base, good teachers, quality eduction, and the campus has expanded nicely. But there seem to be administrative power issues and politics involving parent participation (not good for working parents). Also if you are applying for a scholarship, the process is intense, personal, and all business.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
