my daughter graduated from this school. She grew up there with great community and cooperative values, with a sophisticated overview of the world that happened to be pretty accurate, and with skills confidence. I visited the school often and absolutely love it. I'll go back just for myself to visit, probably forever. It's wonderful.

I began my high school teaching career at Olney five years ago. I'm still here because I love the students, my colleagues, the curriculum, and the environment. At Olney, students learn to study the world and their impact on it -- through each other (students from all over the world), reading history and novels and poems and essays, discussion, writing, working on the farm, hiking through the woods, playing the guitar, swimming in the lake, camping, dancing. It's a phenomenal place. Tell your friends. Tell everyone you know. Olney is, as Bob Dylan says, 'the best.'

My experience with my God Granddaughter's two years at Olney could not better. Krisah grew into a mature young lady with an understanding of her duty to work to make a better world. She developed socially and academically.

Olney is a great school for kids that thrive in small community-centered environments. This tiny school (60 students) feels like large family.

This is a wonderful school for a child to grow and become independent. Because the school is so small, the teachers and students can relate to each other on a higher level than in a larger school. This school teaches children more than just the importance of education but it also teaches the importance of team work, giving to others and the importance of reaching out to those in need. Attending Olney helped me with the transition to college; I didn't have the feelings of being homesick because I spent 4 years away from home. The friendships I developed at Olney will last a lifetime.
