I'm sorry you must feel that way about this school, but I disagree with your comment and I am not part of the administration. My son has attended Batavia Elementary for 2yrs. and I am glad that I chose this school for my child. Ms. Mackeris, and Mrs. Sanzere were my son's teacher's and they are the best that I could ask for. Yeah there is no air conditioning, but they do put fans in the classrooms. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants their children t feel welcome and have a great education.
The principal and staff do not provide the resources that parents need to 'take more on themselves.' There is poor communicationand and that is sad considering all of the forms of communication that are in place; agendas, notes home, e-mail and phones. Who writes most of these reviews? My guess is the administration.
Great elementary school. Administration and staff do a wonderful job of reaching out to all students. Spend appropriate amount of time and energy for both gifted and special needs students. Strongly address the majority of the students, which is what all schools should concentrate on. Gifted students are identified and parents need to take more on themselves if they feel the school does not supply enough.
Although the students do receive proper supervision, the staff seems to be primarily interested in state/national test scores as opposed to promoting a truly educational environment on a daily basis. I have one child in the middle school and one in the elementary, and the administration at both is inflexible and closed-minded, particularly with respect to their enrichment and/or gifted programs.
i love Batavia Schools. My children love the school. I have two in the middle school and two in the elementary. I love the staff and the commitment they make to the children. The principal is great and is always around if you need to talk with her. I wouldnt want my children going to any other school, and they wouldnt want to.
This is a wonderful school in an excellent district. The staff makes this school a very special place. The principal is a very down-to-earth individual who relates well to the students and parents alike. I have two sons at Batavia Elementary now and couldn't be more pleased.
I am a parent who has a child in open enrollment at Batavia because our local school is rated below Batavia. I love my child's teacher and I feel that the extracurricular activities are abundant. I love Batavia Schools!
This school has changed recently. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer and the state report card they didn't make annual year progress. The place isn't as friendly as before. My kids still like the school. Maybe they just had a bad year.
Teachers are great, I graduated from here and the small school atmosphere never ends. Great place to start the education.
This school is very goal driven and student focused very wonderful staff know how to motivated well
