The school and curriculum is absolutely horrendous. If your child is in any way gifted either a Montessori school or the public school system will be your best bet. This school is not for anyone who excels beyond the norms due to the fact that they will think you are doing your child's work for them. This process is most prevalent during the mandatory Science Fair. Also, know that if you or your child decides to work ahead in a class, there is a good chance your books will be confiscated (personal experience). The "religion" classes are taught by teachers who actually think God is a big guy in the sky instead of developing and integrating critical thinking with respect to religion and philosophy. Further, if you send your child here, do not expect him or her to have any type of decent background in science or mathematics. I would definitely recommend enrolling your child in a Montessori school, if he or she happens to be gifted and/or learn better through individual exploration, or the public school system.

St. Raphael school is fantastic! The teachers/staff are the best. They encourage each child to do their best and are always willing to give their time to help any child struggling. The parent support of the school is amazing. The school is a National Blue Ribbon award winner for the year 2010 and it is easy to see why.

We just completed our first year at St. Raphael and I am proud to be a parent and a parishioner. The teachers and staff at the school are incredible. We have enjoyed meeting all of the parents & joining in social events. I've never seen a community of people rally behind one another through the good and the bad. We look forward to many, many years to come.

St.Raphael is a wonderful place to send your child. My student is so energetic and so excited to go to school! St.Raphael is a leading schooll in the Diocese and it is a great choice. Our teachers and our principal are amazing. Sending your child here is a great decision!
