Great school. The principal and the office staff was easy to talk to and always there. We did have some issue with my son s teacher as she makes it difficult for him to ask her any questions. The academic is very challenging compare to other schools (we move about every year). In 2011, when we were there, the special education classes are the best, they were very supportive and provide one on one attention that was so awesome. Our job has relocated us from St. Luke and we are at another Catholic school that is in no way providing the special education services and the academic challenges that St. Luke has. We are working real hard to get back to Beavercreek area so our child could go back to St. Luke School.

We love St. Lukes school! What our children are getting out of the school is priceless. Aside from academics children are taught to have a strong sense of respect for one and other something I think is missing from public school systems.

Only expereinced a few months of 1st grade so far.... In short, even the world's greatest teacher cannot provide individualized attention when she alone has 25 kids all day. Massive Ohio state funding cuts hurt private schools more than public schools in 2009 -- bye bye teacher aids, support staff, resources. My son works ahead on math on his own, but he's bored by most of the academics. Perhaps thats what happens when he came from an awesome, 8-1 ratio kindergarten class (Bright Beginnings) that taught up to 2nd grade level topics. Talking to other parents & students, his 1st grade class is on par or even ahead of its public school peers academically.

The teachers work very hard to challenge all of the students. The teachers care about each child and only have their best interests at heart.

I love this school man its so cool but the 7th and 8th graders need lockers, for they have waaaaayyyy too many books to fit in the desk. So that is about all I can think about St. Luke that is bad. Other than that, I have been extremely surprised about the staff and the teachers ability to teach the word of God everyday without having to tell the kids that they are. So I do like the incorperation of that. I also like he education. It has a program that can teach kids with learning disabilities, but can also challenge kids who don't. My son loves Ms. Bruns! Thank you St. Luke!

My son has a learning disability and could not have had a better first and second grade teacher. They have been great at communicating (by emails, ect) when my sons medication needed adjusted and helpful in evaluating new doses. They have provided the structure he needs. My son likes school. I know that his teachers, and principle care about him.

I have been disappointed with St. Luke's. This is my son's second year there, and his current teacher is extremely difficult to work with. She has, on multiple occasions, neglected to get back to us, 'went home sick' the morning we were supposed to have a meeting (it had been scheduled for 6 weeks and she never contacted us to apologize for missing it or see if there was anything she missed), and she fails to follow through on classroom interventions agreed upon earlier in the year. Perhaps this school is great for kids who don't need any special help or attention, but I have really been disgusted by how we have been treated as parents and the treatment my son has received as a young child. His teacher has even reprimanded him for working ahead on his homework! We're currently looking into other schools.

Our family loves St. Luke! The entire staff K-8 is focused on faith and on academics. The school has a loving culture and children feel a part of something awesome. We have three children and we know without a doubt that our kids are getting the best ecucation possible.

St. Luke has an amazing Junior High Program! There is no doubt that my children are receiving the highest level of education available in the area.
