Heskett Middle School is worthy of earning an above average in my opinion as a parent. Firstly, academic wise I feel as though my son is in where he needs to be and the classes are challenging (he is in 3 advanced classes). Most of the teachers and especially the principal, Mrs Golden hold the children accountable of their actions and respect is still a priority. My son is quite athletic and I am impressed with their sports programs, the coaches definately follow the rules of maintaining their grades in order to play. I wish that Heskett was extended to the 12th grade, for I would be more than comfortable continuing his education there. I am a homeowner in Bedford Hts, and unfortunately, the area is declining with alot of transfers from Cleveland schools etc but kudos to Heskett!
The school offers many oppertunities for kids to get involved. Not only do they have sports activities they have writing, chess, robotics, and National Junior Honor Society. They offer Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Spanish 1, French 1, German 1,and Exploritory language.
