As a former student of Bellefontaine highschool I was very impressed by the quality of teachers and staff. I was not an average grade student when I began attending there. I struggle a lot with my previous school grade wise and comfortability wise. My learning needs were not met at my previous school as they were at Bellefontaine. I was so happy that I transffered to this school. If I wouldn't have done this I would not have graduated from highschool. I want to thank the teachers for their help and support in the time I was there. Thank You So Much!!!

Bellefontaine is an excellent place for students. I have two students who are average academically and average athletically and Bellefontaine has helped both of them excell. The teaching and administrative staff are hard working and see to it that all students are well cared for.

As a parent- I couldn't be happier. This school has an excellent faculty, and administration. We have excellent facilities, athletics, music programs, and acedemics. I think the only thing we're lacking is diversity. We can't help that. My kids have a lot more opportunities than if they had been transferred to Indian lake or Ben Logan. Both are fine schools- and I'm a graduate of one of them...but Bellefontaine is the best hands down. They can offer my kids the most choice, and the most exposure to everything; whether it be music- or mathematics.

As a RECENT former student, I would have to encourage parents to send their students to Bellefontaine City Schools. The schools have their problems with things like violence and 'cliques' true enough, but no more so than other schools. At the high school age especially, that kind of behavior is to be somewhat expected. I was an average student with no extreme athletic ability, and I wasn't treated badly for that or any other aspects of my personality. I think that Bellefontaine City Schools would be one of the best places to send cheldren, and I would highly recomend it to parents.

I am a senior at BHS and I have been very disappointed the last few years in the quality of my school. There are lots of fights. The school doesn't notify students on up coming events early. Also I feel as if I am constantly in competion with my fellow students over who is more popular, etc... I believe that Bellefontaine is a very vain high school

Being a former student of Bellefontaine High School I would not recomend that you send your children to this school. Bellefontaine is a close knit community within the school, and those who are cast out are those who are not athletic, those who get average grades, and those who do not go towards what the community standard is for 'normal'. Because I was outspoken about the mistreatment and segregation I was a prime target for teachers and administrators as well as students and their families. There are two great schools no more than 20-30 minutes away at the most from Bellefontaine, Ben Logan and Indian Lake, I would transfer your children there.
