Western Elementary School is a wonderful school. I cannot say enough about the quality of the academic programs, the leadership of the principal & the quality of all of the amazing teachers that teach at this school. I have volunteered (OHIO READS) at this school on a weekly basis for 2 years and I have witnessed many times over the exceptional quality of this school in many ways. The students are all given very personalized attention and this is so beneficial because all students learn at a different pace. It impresses me how the staff all works together to make this school such a positive learning environment. I love being apart of that, that is why I volunteer there. I also love for my child to be apart of this atmosphere too, which is why I open enroll him there. This school is a great place to learn and grow!
This school is awesome! I am impressed with the principal and all of the teachers that I have gotten to know. I think that this school is a super great school and I am surprised to see that it carries such a low rating. I think very highly of this school and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a school that will provide an awesome academic education to their child as well as provide individualized attention and equal respect for all students.
I absolutely love this school. I also have a child with mental disorders and was very pleased with the concern of the staff and the plans they put into action to help my child. Five of my six children attend school here. They have also attended Piqua City Schools, Troy City Schools, and Miami East Schools. Western Elementary has, by far, been the best. They are very in-tune with the children, and great at corresponding with the parents. I will be saddened if we ever have to leave this town; and will try my best to open enroll my children to here.
I am the parent of a 1st and 3rd grader currently attending western elem. One of them whitch has ADHD,it took me a while to get the help for him that I wanted and that he so desperatly needed but overall I like the school and the teachers.
