sorry to say, not a so great school for kids that have disabiilties. you have to really fight hard for your child in this school. it's all about the money, don't let this school fool you.
I wouldn't have my daughter anywhere else. She is enrolled in Milan Elementary and has been there for the last 3 years. Havin had experience with other schools I can say without a doubt that these are the best!
This is a wonderful elementary school for students of all types, with all types of behaviors and issues. It is my personal belief that Berlin Elementary excels in the area of autism and related behaviors. The adminstration truly supports the teachers, staff and students. They understand the importance of visual supports, sensory integration, transitions, social skills, communication etc...that affect the learning process for a child with autism. Their 'no bullying' policy is taught from Kindergarten on up. Berlin Elementary has made a huge difference in the education of my children.
