Central School is a good school in school district that has consistently ranked high relative to test scores. However, if your child is just an average student at best, or has special needs, he/she may struggle academically because the 'bar' is so high for them to do well. My child struggled academically at this school. As a result, he didn't like going to school and became depressed. I finally took him out of this school district after five years. He is doing so much better in school now as a result of the change. It is a great school in a good school district. However, some children do better than others in a school district where the bar is set high for students to do well.

Central School is in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District. The school has consistently ranked high in terms of academic performance. Parental involvement is very pervalent. The PSO is active as well. The school has about 750 students in grades 4 and 5. Music, art, physical education are available and are non core courses for students. Students can also participate in band and orchestra. The only down side is that, because the school is in a good school district, more families are moving into the area. Therefore, you may have class sizes of 26 students to one teacher. Also, if you have a special needs child, you may need to be agressive to get your child the help he/she may need.
