Having just moved here from out of state I can tell you that I did a lot of research as to where our children would attend middle school in the area. We are so pleased that we finally chose BBHMS. Our children began just this past August and while we have only been here a few months we have been thrilled with the education they have been receiving. The teachers have been great with their instruction and keeping us up to date with our children's progress. Whenever we have had a question or concern, each teacher has responded promptly and with helpful comments. The guidance staff has gone the extra mile to address any social or academic issue. And the principal and vice-principals have been very approachable and have also addressed concerns or questions in a very timely and professional manner. We are very pleased with our decision to settle in the area and have found this school to be everything that we had read about it which was very positive and encourgaging.
Brecksville Broadview Hts ('BBBH') has consistently received the highest possible ratings for school districts in the State of Ohio. It offers a complete curricula in sciences, math, languages, and accelerated courses. There are extracurricular activities in sports, jazz band, computers, and a wide variety of other interests. The teachers are committed to a quality program and have the support of the administration and the community. The safety and well-being of the students is paramount. Busing is available to all students. Not connected to the schools but certainly relevant is the fact that within five minutes driving time is the Brecksville Branch of the Cuyahoga Cuyahoga Public Library, which is rated by Hemmings as the best in the U.S. of its size. Perhaps the most informative statement I can make about the BBBH School District is that we moved here because of the high quality of the schools, and we are very pleased that we did.
After living and teaching in several cities in the US, I have realized that BBHSD offers unparalleled academics, student services and activities. The staff is supportive of eachother and their students.
Lots of extracurricular activities, teachers are very helpful and the kids are great. I moved away not too long ago and I miss it like crazy.
