The bully's run this school !!! The principal, who is a good guy, is more concern with being a friend to everyone and not rocking the boat than to the safety of our children!
This school district has tons of potential but needs much financial help. Rather than spending money on a brand new campus, they should have invested funds into educational materials and/or better teaching staff. After graduation kids don't care about the quality of construction, what matter is the quality of education provided. The best teacher I had, and many friends had is no longer there and the school needs more teachers like her. She prepared us for college and in hindsight was the best part of my education at BHS. Better teachers and your district will improve by default.
Brookfield has always been a good school! Yes, financially Brookfeild Schools need help! The only complent that I feel is that there Is to much fighting and misbehavior thru-out this school. In stead of out of school suspension, give in school suspession. Students take advantage of being suspended because they are excused days and there is really no conquence. zero's for classes can be made up, which I feel should remain zeros!
Not enough books, not enough teachers. No aids, rampant bullying. Underfunded educational system led by an incompetent administration. We will leave as soon as we find the means.
I love this school... We have amazing spirit and everyone is friends with everyone!
Most good teachers have quitted or been asked to leave after the levy failed to pass again. They have good Math,English and science teacher in 9th. grade. Need to evaluate how 10th grade English class is being taught. Students complained that they learn nothing since 9th grade English was much better.
