I moved to Brunswick for the Autistic Unit within Huntington Elementry School,(from Cleveland). My son is high-functioning, and is main-streamed into regular classes. My son has rapidly made many milestones, socially, and academically! The principal and staff have always been more than willing to listen to my concerns, and accomidate them into my sons' I.E.P. This great communication and relationship has made our experience an excellent one. The counselor, and principal always greet the children at the door, and know the kids on a first name basis. Disability awareness assemblies have helped my sons classmates to be more understanding, and supportive towards him. Education is taken very seriously, and the staff gives one hundred and ten percent to help the children achieve thier goals! I,as a parent, am very pleased with this school! I cannot recommend this school enough! In short, I live in Brunswick for the excellent school system! They really care!
