My grandson attended Byesville in the last school year from November 2004-2005. He entered this school year in the middle of first grade with scores below kindergarden level. He has a reading disability. He is ADHD. They provided a reading tutor for him, and made arrangements with the kindergarden teacher to get a double dose of phonics each day. This school helped him build his scores to first grade level, and he passed to second grade. The teacher was Mrs Zimmer (SHE IS GREAT). I was at the school just about every day in the morning or after school to check on him, she always treated me with respect (never once did she treat me like the pest I was LOL). His tutor soon found out that he HATED READING so she turned his tutoring into games in which he would do with no problem. Way to go Mrs Bell.
