I have 3 boys ranging from k-3 and I LOVE Canal Winchester schools. They have great teachers, great kids, the parents are very involved and they offer a variety of sports. We also enjoy their family movie nights :)

I moved from California to Canal Winchester and my son was attending a highly credited school in California. He now goes to Canal Winchester and I find the classes that he takes and the teachers to be just as good if not better. This was a great transition for my son moving from the west coast to the mid-west. The athletics are good as well as the parent involvement. Keep up the good work teachers and students!

I have had kids in the Canal Winchester School District since 2001. I have always felt that my children were getting a great education, until my son entered 4th grade. The teachers in the upper grades don't seem to care as much. The schools are over crowded and they don't seem to be dealing well with the types of students they have gotten in the last few years. They need more discipline then they do education and it is hard for the teachers to teach while dealing with bullies, especially in the intermediate school(grades 5-6th)

I moved from Columbus City Schools to Canal Winchester Schools to get my grandson a better education and his grades are worse than before. I have not been able to get him any assistance. I have talked with his teachers and they gave me a list of tutors that cost from $20 and hour up. If I could afford this I would send him to a private school.
