This is and was a terrible experience for us for a number of reasons. There is a tremendous lack of quality education which the staff has made last on their list. The kids are not learning what they should be learning to prepare them for college. Too many distractions take place in the classroom. We wasted a tremendous amount of money here.

This school has really lowered their standards. It was a great school before (years ago) however I would consider it average, if was a public school. I expected better for a private school, save your money or pick another Christian school.

I am the new principal at HPS (started in Sep 2011). We are excited about the changes that are taking place at HPS. We are renewing our focus on superior quality academics and outstanding school culture. We are proud of our facilities and our Christian-centered environment. Our athletic teams are competitive but academic success comes first. We are a college preparatory school that believes that all students can learn. Please come and take a look to see if we can serve your children.

All my children have attended Harvest Prep and have had a quality education. They have gone on to college and excelled academically and spiritually.

This school showed such a bad religious discrimination by saying that they cannot admit our child as me & my husband follows a different religion. That policy being followed by that school is some thing that need to be corrected immediately as they are trying to force some one change their beliefs if they have to give their child a better education

I agree with the fact that the school has lost it's foundation and due to greed it has put spirituality aside. The children that attends this school are not learning what they should be learning. The children are learning more about sex then about christainity. The school are doing away with activities in order to keep the monies they get from the state for themselves. they promissed so much and deliver so litter.

I have two children that attend HPS and they love going to the school. They have a new principal that is wonderful. I highly recommend this school. You should take anew look at this school.

I am a graduate of HPS. I was in attendance of this school for 9 consecutive years. I am now in college and I couldn't be more appreciative for the foundation of education and spirituality I received there as a child. No school is perfect. If there is I personally wouldn't want to go to one there because that's just not reality. Yet now that I am one foot closer into operating fully in the real world I see it was my training ground into becoming the best woman I can be! I would encourage anyone to enroll his or her child, right away!

I would not recommend this school my Daughter has been going to HPS for 2 years and we have had problmes with bullys and the principle will do nothing about it. We will be taking her out of the school . There is also no spiritual teaching.

Overall a great quality school. Of course there are some things you dont like about every school, but at least here your kids arent pounded with secular humanism. The kids get a good Christian education.

My child has attended HPS for 6 years. We have found it to be a school where children come first with a quality education at the forefront. The teachers and the atmosphere are phenomenal. while it is not the perfect Christian school, it is among the best in the Columbus area. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist you in any way. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a Christian school that is college preparatory. I never question my daughter's safety or well-being while she is under their supervision.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
