PRIORITIZE! Not only this school but the whole district Education- NOT sports- is what will take you anywhere. Once this school realizes this, every thing will be fine. I appreciate being able to go to this school, but I think that if my peers learn the value of respect and education, all the problems will be solved. Also, perhaps consisting with the rules would be helpful.

I love this school I feel so safe here and I actually want to get up and go to school in the morning the teachers are so great and everyone here wants to do well and carry on our long standing tradition our students are so respectful of our building. I just want everyone to now that here at Mckinley High school we never settle for less than the best.

As a 2006 honors grad of McKinley, the four years I spent there were amazing. Being involved in McK's Advanced Placement classes, Stage Crew working with the school musicals/plays, and being a student on the Small School's Design Team, I had the opportunity to spend hundreds of hours with McKinley's diverse Administration, Staff and students. With the current renovations, McKinley will not only be esthetically pleasing, but a great place to obtain an education that goes beyond the classroom.

I am a sophmore in Canton McKinley Senior High School and I can say that I enjoy my education. I am currently enrolled in several advanced classes and have found them to be fun, challenging, rewarding, and educational. Extracurricular programs are well announced, once in the morning, all day during all luch mods, and in the afternoon. If a student doesn't know something it is usually his/her fault. Parents are well informed of his/her child's activities. We have report cards that come out every three weeks and a pinicle system that alerts parents to absences and grades. They have currently put a program into place where if we are late to a class we recieve a detention and if we skip a class we recive a saturday school. Overall I take pride in my school. (my opinion is that the schools are doing a fine job parents need to help them out.)

I think that McKinley is a fantastic school and the teachers are doing the best they can and are super! My child loves McKinley and I plan to send my other childern to the school. I feel the only reason the McK is having some problems is because of the president, but we wont go there. Also, i beleive that McKinley has suburb AP classes, keep doing what your doing McKinley and dont listen to what other people have to say!

I am a student as well, in small school 4, A.L.I.V.E. In my opinion, the teachers are the only thing that make the school somewhat decent. The administators seemingly have no clue what they're doing, and the immaturity and total lack of respect displayed by many of the students sickens me. Actually, they go well together. The immature students act up, and it gives the chance for the administration to show how iniffectual they are. Their only solution to any problem? More and more repression. If they would stop punishing everyone and just try to punish the guilty, then they might actually earn their paycheck for once. I used to go to Central Catholic, and I would gladly pay the high tuition cost if it meant I wouldn't have to come to McKinley.

I have a student in the starz small school and I am very uneasy with the what I have seen so far. I have been to speak with the principle she has been away with no one knowing when she will return. Hope this is not a trend of unavailaility.

I attended this school back in the 1980's and it is a terrific school. Alot of things have improved over the years and I'm very impressed. Keep up the good work.
