I was highly guarded to have my son enter the public school system, yet have been blown away by the services provided. Mrs. Sponseller has gone above and beyond in working with my gifted child, to the point of even working with him one on one. It is rare to find a principle this dedicated to the education of their students.

I'm a grandfather of three children going to Taft. I watch them when they get off of school. I do not understand how children can learn by not having any homework each day. My youngest grandchild in 1st grade always has homework but the other 2 in 4th grade never have home work. With all the teachers have to do in a few hours each day I do not know why homework is not part of it.
