Not only does the Canton Arts Academy have high academic acheivement, they also focus on the enrichment of both visual & performing arts and the development of musical talent. Their performances are noteworthy! My daughter was assessed when she was only 6yrs old & we were told that she would have an opportunity to attend this school. After much research, we learned it was proven that students who are gifted in the arts also score very high in their academics, which she does. CAA only has 150 students in grades 3-8. Their program includes exciting project-based curriculum which is taught by a superior staff. In addition, they have an excellent martial arts program and a wonderful healthy foods program. There are also many opportunities for parents & the community to be involved at this school. We are so thankful that the Canton City School District opened this school!
