I am so fortunate that all my children attended Heritage Christian School. Not only were they well-prepared academically to excel in college but they were well-grounded in making appropriate social and spiritual decisions. The Heritage team of teachers did an outstanding job at every level and my children learned how to work hard, live a disciplined life and be kind and polite to others. The friendships they developed at Heritage have followed them through college and graduate school. I could not be more pleased or blessed as a parent to have my children as Heritage Christian School graduates. I love that the school is a K-12 program and that it has a family atmosphere of nurturing, respect and community. No school is perfect but the education and environment at Heritage is Christ-centered and God's Word has greatly impacted the lives of my children.

As a Heritage Christian School grandparent, I feel so blest to have my grandchildren in a school where the name of Jesus is lifted up as well as a quality education. 2 Timothy 4:2 says preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction. I am thankful that Mr. Pizor and the staff are there to work with you if your student is being praised or is in need of correction in situations that they have not yet reached the maturity to deal with. The music and sports programs put the major emphasis on the Bible s teaching toward extra curricular. I Timothy 4:8, for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.

As a parent of three students that have attended Heritage Christian School, I can tell you the teachers are the best. Howard Pizor, the principal is such a gentle and loving man, it is like knowing the kindness of Christ. I love this school and all the teachers, staff and association. The building may be old, but like grandparents it is a warm and loving place to be. What is inside is what makes this school a blessing. A pearl of great price.

I am a mother of a son that attends this school and want to let you know that I am very pleased with my son's education. We decided at the beginning of this school year to try another private school that was better funded and with what we thought was a good education and good atmosphere. I can tell you that it was a huge mistake. Heritage is well beyond this other school academically, more than 1 year in some areas, and maybe even more in others. Also, the Christian atmosphere is wonderful and encouraging. To know you are dealing with Christian teachers that care about your child, pray for your child and encourage your child in their studies as well as in their relationship with Christ is amazing. Do not listen to the negative comments on this site, this school is not perfect, but they have a heart for your child and a heart for Christ and the academics are very solid. I know that my son will be well prepared for his future based on the academics at this school. I would encourage you to checkout the school, I promise you it will not disappoint. Thanks!

The family atmosphere, and the fact you can pray, and pledge alligence to the flag which nowadays, that has been lost in public schools. This school has so much to offer a student, including Love.

The love, the care, the no fear...It all adds up to a school where parents feel safe sending their children, and they know each child can talk about God freely and easily. I am a prospective Heritage school Grandmother who toured Heritage Christian school, and walked away feeling very good about my Granddaughters education.

i went to the school for about 2 years. please parents take my advice, this is not a good school!!! There were only 2 teachers that i really thought did a good job with us and the other ones that i had were terrible. the kids i went to school with wee some of the most egotistical bullies! i started going to the school because the public school i was going to wasnt the greatest environment. i came out of that school worst than when i went in, and oh, by the way, the school caused me to lose my faith!

HCS did a great job preparing my child for college while at the same time developing his spiritual needs. I would recommend anyone in the Canton area to send their child to HCS if they want to send their child to a good college. The public schools in canton just can't compete with what HCS has to offer.

Our student has attended HCS for 6 yrs. Her standardized testing proves she is excelling in her education as compared to the national and local averages. The vast majority of the students graduating from HCS seek higher education. This school emphasizes not only scholastics but extracurricular activities and community involvement which is evidenced by the sports, clubs, and arts made available. This year the 3 co-valedictorians were 3 starting seniors on the girl's varsity basketball team. The school structure is old and outdated but you cannot judge a book by its cover; the staff and the school's families work together to maintain this historical building which is a testimony to good stewardship. We have found that if you are involved w/ the staff your concerns are heeded; those who do not actively participate in trying to improve situations are the ones who leave disgruntled. We sent our child to 2 different public school in Canton before she entered HCS. We were very discouraged by the teaching of scientific theory as fact and the negative views of our American History. HCS does have a biblical approach to education, but it states where facts are facts and theories are theories and they are proud of our history.
