Carlisle is a good school with a caring staff. I have always felt my children were well cared for in Grigsby Intermediate. I personally believe Miss Amos to be the best teacher both of them have had! She is so wonderful and willing to help them in such creative ways when they don't seem to understand something. Some of the teachers even offer free tutoring after school for testing. I have had that experience with two different teachers and it has made a huge difference.
Academics are very good. Teachers are well experienced!
I have lived in Carlisle for 6 years. Both of my children have been to this school. The Jump in their level of learning was dramatic. My children went from average to Honor/merit roll students. The majority of teachers are above average, and 5 of them are exceptional. The principal is outstanding. My kids have been to many schools. This one has been the best I have ever come in contact with.
