My son was way behind on learning to read in first grade. We moved and he transferred to Chauncey school and they had him reading in two weeks time. Which proves their teachers give the students attention where its needed. I had contacted the prior school about him being so behind and all I got in repsonse was 'well some kids learn slower than others'. I was unhappy with this answer because my son is not learning defficient....he is actually smart in other areas. All he needed was a little effort from the teracher on his part.
Ten stars for Chauncey elementary! It deserves the highest marks it can get!
The teachers are great. They have made my son's transition to a new school easier than expected.
I have taught at Chauncey Elementary for 35 years because I love our school and our community. The teachers at Chauncey are dedicated, smart and approachable. Come on in and meet us! We are proud of our kids and our community of learners.
