This is the third public school in two states that our daughter has been enrolled due to some job changes in the last 6 years. Considering the hype about Chesterland schools, we have been less than impressed; in fact, we have been disappointed. It seems the teachers are very concerned with teaching to the standardized tests. We also have felt the teachers are less than concerned with our child and more concerned with making sure we understand they are a top rated school system. If you are thinking about moving to Chesterland because of the schools, save your money and move elsewhere. My daughter has been here for 1/2 year and her grades have dropped from straight A's her entire academic career and the her first semester in Lindsey (she is in 5th grade) to C's and one or two B's. We have had much better experiences with other schools systems.
