Bishop Flaget School combines a compassionate Christian environment with high academics and a strong family atmosphere. Students achieve far above the national average in all subjects. Average class size is about 18 students. Students are encouraged to participate in many extra-curricular activities, which include junior high volleyball, basketball, track, and golf, band (5-8), and orchestra. Parents are extremely involved in the school, volunteering for many in-class programs as well as running fundraisers and helping with special events. Students are given the opportunity to attend one class Mass a month and an All School Mass each month as well. The school is open to both Catholics and non-Catholics. The school has a large playground, full-size gym, computer lab, smartboards in classrooms, laptops for students, music room, and band room. The students are also offered physical education two times a week.
