I doubt they get 15 minutes for lunch. If the teacher gets more, who would watch you child? And, what if the lunch period was shorter, perhaps they want your child to get more instruction in order to make him/her more successful. Get off the tenure thing...perhaps in a school with so many students, they need to curtail students using the restroom as a haven away from classroom instruction time. What are you doing to make your child successful? Stop enabling your child and support education. All three of my children graduated from PHS and are very successful and did wonderful in college. You are lucky they attend the Princeton City School District.

I don't get it. My daughter is in 7th grade. She starts school at 7:15 am and gets out at about 3:00pm. The lunch break is only 15 minutes long. An 8 hour day with only 15 miutes to shove in a little food. To top that off she only gets 3 minutes between classes. Not much time to go the little girls room for such a large school! Oh yea; she gets 3 bathroom passes per quarter. I'll bet the teachers get a lot more time for lunch and can relieve themselves whenever they want. Sounds like the school is trying to squeeze every minute out of each day at the expense of the children. Maybe the students should unionize, by the 10th grade they would get full tenure. This is not unique to the middle school. Would say more but I am limited to 150 words.

My son is in all AP classes. He gets straight A's, yet he never brings home a book. He said when they do get a home assignment, they get class time to do it, which does not make sense to me. He showed me one of these assignment, a math paper that only had 4 problems on it. I am very unhappy with this school.

Princeton Junior High has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She received an outstanding education and is prepared to enter all honors courses at her high school. From what I understand from parents in other districts, she is significantly further along than other kids in her grade, particularly in Math and French. The administration at the school has been extremely effective. Discipline at the school was beyond our expectations. We could not have been more pleased with the school, the teachers and the administration.

Princeton Junior High is an outstanding school, both in the arena of student development through excellent programs in music, art and sports and in the area of student development in education. The administration of the school practices a proactive, no-nonsense approach to student conduct and the students respond positively. I was concerned about my oldest child entering this time in his life because of all that I had heard about the 'Jr. High' age...but it is the best year of his life yet! He Loves Princeton Jr. High!
