This is a great school if your child wants to apply themselves,As usual, too much emphasis on sports. The influx of section 8 into the area has brought down the academics scores, unfortunately. The schools are only as good as the parents! My child had excellent teachers and AP opportunities!

Average school. Teachers actually showed they were more interested in the school stats than the students' grades. Several administators look like they are barely out of high school themselves.

I am a Wiccan High Priest whom attended this High School. I liked the education I had received from Oak Hills, but I did not like when they banned the wearing of my Pentacle (a symbol of my belief) because they thought it was Satanic. They did not however ban the wearing of all religious symbols, so they did violate my First Ammendment Right to Freedom of Religion. When I threatened to contact the ACLU about a certain teacher whom tried to make me take my Pentacle off, they let me wear it until I changed schools. For this incident, I give this school a negative 100 rating.

I love the fact that the teachers and administrators are invested in my children's education. They do not hesitate to contact me for any reason and I LOVE IT!!!

My daughter graduated in 2008. It has given her a well rounded education and prepared her for college.

I graduated from Oak Hills in 2007 and I feel that I recieved an excellent education. O.H. is very clean, safe, and well-maintained; the teachers are dedicated and maintain discipline well; and overall my teachers were good educators who were always ready to provide extra help. The students here were much more respectful, friendly, and courteous than those at other schools. Many other high schools in this area, especially in the Cincinnati Public School District, have big problems with fighting, disrespect, and maintaining order in the classroom, which creates a poor learning environment, O.H provides a nice alternative to that. The only complaint I have about O.H is that it is not racially or economically diverse. It's over 90% white and almost all students are middle class or higher. Some people see this as good, but I think diversity is necessary for students' growth into intelligent, capable, open-minded human beings.

Oak Hills is a great school. I go to Rapid Run Middle School and love it. I always come home with wonderful news on what I studied or did. Go RRMS Rams!

Oak Hills is a great school district. It has one of the best programs for children with disabilities and the average student. Right now they are in a phase to improve writing across the curriculum, which I think is profound. They continue to find ways to improve themselves through professional development, and they also communicate with the community effectively.

I think Oak Hills is an excellent high school. I have two children that have graduated and one left at Oak Hills and I am very happy with the education that they have all received and I feel that there are in a very safe environment. My kids wouldn't be the confident young adults that they are with out the help of everyone in the Oak Hills school system.
