This is my daughters first year at Eden Grove Academy, she is a third grader, the very first week we saw a improvement in our child's confidence, we did something right! we found a school for her to grow academically, spiritually, and to feel safe, . No the schools doesn't have all the glitz and glamour ,we came from one of those, it has just what my child needs excellent teachers, and a challenging curriculum .
My children attend Eden Grove Academy and it is a wonderful school. They may not have some of the bells and whistles of larger schools, but they offer a great curriculum that is taught by excellent teachers. The A Beka curriculum stresses the fundamentals that are so important for the elementary grade levels. And the small class sizes allow for more individual attention.
I am a Eden Grove Parent and I am very displeased with the un-professionalism exhibited by this school. The leadership is very weak and the teachers are not held to much of a protocol at all. Many of the teachers have College degrees but not teaching certification, and further lack the social and psychological ability to deal with children. I am not sure how teachers are screened for this school but the process needs to be revamped. The curriculum is awesome but the school lacks the personnel to implement such a pristine curriculum. Be very Careful if you considering this school. There are other school employing the same curriculum, search those as well.
The Abeka School system is the greatest component of this school, however this school lacks the leadership to fully uphold the mission. There also needs to be a re-evaluation on some of the primary teachers. There has definitely been a decline in organization in the past few years. I will be withdrawing my child after this school year
I have 2 children currently enrolled in this school. At one time, I was quite satisfied, but I regret to say that is not the case any longer. The teachers (grades K-8) are exceptional and the A Beka curriculum is challenging and wondrful, but I am quite displeased at the decline in leadership at the school within this past school year. I believe the school has great potential if only the leadership woud be quick to handle situations among students, staff, and parents right away, but this is NOT the case.
academics are wonderful. a huge challenge for my three children
