I am a current SUA student and I am here to say that this is a great school. It has something for everyone. There are tons of different clubs and student led groups. This school is meant to prepare students for college and that is exactly what it does. The academics are wonderful as well as challenging, yet manageable. Students should expect about four hours of homework per night. There are also many options for students, including CP, honors, and AP classes. It was one of the first high schools in the area to have the Tablet PC program for their students. From last year forward, all grades have tablets which enable a world of possibility. The tablets also come with responsibility so be sure you or your child feels comfortable with the use of technology every day. The sports are also another big part of the Ursula community, holding many state and even a national title. Is theater what you or your daughter enjoys? Then she will love St. Ursula Ensemble Theater which puts on a total of three plays each year, with the last being a musical performed at the Aronoff. If the price is what holds you back, just know that there are financial aid opportunities and scholarships available.

We have had two daughters attend SUA. They are both very different in personality and academic ability. They both loved the school. The school has a way to bring out the very best in the students regardless of their strenghts. If you ask most high school students how they like their school, at best most say they like it. If you ask an SUA students, they say enthusiastically that they LOVE IT! The school has a strong religious program that emphasizes social justice.

I'm currently a student at SUA and absolutely love it. I don't think it's sports-oriented at all. The school actually works to promote academics, sports, and theater. I don't play soccer for my school, nor do I play any other sports for it, and yet I have tons of friends. There are so many different types of people here, and you definitely do not have to play a sport in order to fit in. Everyone was welcoming my freshman year, and everyone in my class feels free to talk to each other. There aren't really any unbreakable cliques. Plus, the announcements also include other activities that people may be engaged in. The curriculum is rigorous, yes, but the benefits that you reap are enormous. I've already gotten a ton of scholarship offers, and I know that I have my SUA education to thank.

My daughter could not be getting a finer academic experience - she is in all advanced classes and they are *extremely* rigorous. St. Ursula is more like a college campus with so many buildings and the classes are more collegiate in nature, as well. These girls, at least in my daughter's class, are generally very, very kind to each other, too.

Wow! I just read that 13 St. Ursula students were named National Merit semifinalists. I understand that is more than 8% of the senior class. I was already impressed by the classes and the huge selection of clubs and activites, but this is really impressive. I could not have made a better choice for my daughter and I know her SUA foundation will help her through her entire life!

I am thrilled that this is my senior year, for I will no longer have to care about any of the annoying high school drama. I very much regret choosing to attend SUA. There is so much social pressure put on you at this school. As a student, I only have 5 real friends. There are so many cliques at this school. In my opinion, the soccer players 'rule the school.' I did not fit in because of the cliques and also because at this school, you have to be able to afford all of the brand name accessories such as Sperrys, Uggs, etc.

I think St. Ursula is the best high school choice for girls in the region. SUA students benefit from rigorous academics balanced with an endless selction of clubs, athletics and co-curriculars. The program and environment has helped my daughter develop her potential intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. She has learned values and social responsibility that will last a lifetime!

I am currently a student at SUA and I absolutely love it. It is arguably the most academically challenging private school in the city, and even though all-nighters are often required to complete homework and studying, it truly pays off in the end. The athletics are fantastic, proven by multiple sports teams repeatedly winning state titles. There are girls from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky that attend this school, and it is one of the more diverse schools Cinci has to offer. The students and faculty are very welcoming, and even though I transferred my sophomore year from a public school, it was not difficult at all to make friends. SUA has the greatest reputation out of the other all-girls schools in the area; the students are poised, polite, intelligent, and caring. I wouldn't dream of attending a different school!

i currently attend SUA and i absolutely LOVE IT!! i could go on and on about this school! The curriculum is outstanding, and the extra-curriculum's are amazing as well. The Tablet PC program is SO helpful! Since it's and all girls school, the environment is so relaxed. The principal, Mrs. Romweber, and principal-elect, Mrs. O'Donnell, are 2 of the nicest people i have ever met. It might be a bit expensive, but if you can afford it, it is so worth it!!

This is our family's 10th straight year at SUA, we could not have been happier with the school. Perhaps if teachers are slow to respond to parents, it is because it is appropriate for students to learn to address their academic issues first. Communication has never been an issue. As for the current principal, she is the consumate role model for young women, you could not hope for more. My senior says SUA shows a girl what she is capable of, they help girls push their limits. My oldest daughter and her friends are now out of college and have amazing opportunities. My current college student is so well prepared, she is grateful to everyone staff member of the academy. Saint Ursula Academy has been a true blessing in our lives. Observe the girls at dismissal, they leave energized and happy and ready to take on the world.
