This School, I must say, left me feeling a bit dissapointed. It has a wide variety of classes and caring teachers and a solid spectrum of extra-curricular activities, but their failure to go above and beyond the government standards is quite visible. The Jazz Band, however, is quite excellent. The decision to use uniforms is also questionable.

As the former Principal of Winton Woods Middle school I found the parent support to be tremendous and the school was continually improving with additional academic classes for students to select from as well as fantastic increases in academic achievement. This is a school that offers somthing for all students. Staff are continually seeking ways to improve themselves and the academic delivery to students. The school prides itself on a well rounded extracurricular program that includes outstanding Music and Athletic programs that are directed by well qualified staff. I was very proud to be associated with Winton Woods for 30 years with the last 18 years as an Administrator at the Middle School.
