The kids here see everything as a whole, what one person does effects everyone, so they all try to really go about doing things that's going to project positiveness throughout the community and for their school which those kids love so much. Are they that perfect, NO!, but the Northmont Thunderbolts are a big community of kids who pride themselves on working hard in and outside of the classroom.

Excellent schools! The ranked proficiency score level is Excellent! Students are held to a much higher standard and generally work one to two grade levels above the norm for Ohio schools. So don't be surprised if your A student drops to a B their first quarter here. The teachers tend to give fill in the blank test (the better ones do) and expect the students to know how to use the information they have learned. Overall, this school gets an 8 out of ten. The two point deduction is for the overbearing rules imposed at the high school and middle school. They are very strict and will not tolerate disruptive behavior nor violations in the dress code! For the most part, this district is very user friendly and success oriented. I highly recommend it. They also boast a diversity of culture and appreciation of differences. A definite A+!

I would have to agree with the first rating. Very good school overall. Good racial mix and learning opportunities.

This school is rated excellent academically by the state. Many opportunities for extra-curricular activities, sports and advanced academic classes. The school is crowded right now due to popularity from its academic standing. Good inter-racial mix who all seem to get along well.
