I have never had a worse working environment than I did while at Cathedral. The staff members were violently opposed to working together, the administration had no guidance and offered no assistance, the work environment was dangerous, and the school lacked any sorts of resources. I am incredibly pleased the school was shut down because it saved my life. I am doing SO MUCH better now that I am not forced to deal with the racism and hate I felt DAILY at Cathedral....

During the 2003-2004 school year 75% of the teachers were directly out of college. This showed during the school year. Their lack of patient, lack of compasion and lack of enthusment towards the students, parents and/or co-workers. I noticed that it is mandatory that students be in uniform. Why not the teachers. Casual clothing was out of control. Tatoos showing, espeacially where you're not suppose to see them. Favoritism to good students verses bad/unattainable students. But the most thing that was completely out of control--the yelling! Not shouting but yeklling at the kindergardens, 1st, 2nd and third graders. Even when parents were visiting. This needs to change, quickly!

I had 5 children that attended the school last year and I thought the faculty were very strong in teaching skills, helpful and caring. The principal/assistant are a no-nonsense team! I also thought that parent involvement was pretty good which says alot about a school! Keep it up!

Hello I have three children attending this school now. (3rd,6th and 8th). I would like to see the bathrooms better kept(girls)they leave pads all over the tolet seat and floor. There bathrroms need to be monitor and checked through out the day. I would like to see extra activities at the school. I would like to see the latch key money handle better. (receipt book need to be available at all times for payments to be made). I would like to see gym taken all the time. I believed if children have recess they can definitely be able to relax the rest of the day. We all need a break. And they need to let all this energy out. You forget that some of these children is here early in the morning and they are tired. Like to see a little more organized staff and parents involved.

This School is so horrible now.The school does not have many activities for the students and the parents are not involved. This school does not have a nurse, school president career day or a special day for students and the PTO is out of order. There is a Student Council but they do too many activities in the school that cost money but they are OK.
