St.Mel was fun and awesome! I'll never forget all the memories and friends that were made at my time at St.Mel. Its sad to see the school close. St. Mel educated its students, it was like a big family! I'll never forget all my former classmates and teachers!!

Although I believe Mr McFadden- the principal- is a seasoned veteran- there is a consistant lack of communication within the staff and to parents. There is also a neutrality to bullying- even when faced with chronic situations. I feel that they are afraid to set a boundary becasue it will be lost revenue. Wheras families are finding other educational alternatives because of this issue. There is a tolerance to intimidation and bullying at St Mel- contrary to most educational antibullying standards. There are no ongoing arts or music programs.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
