It was a great school to attend. Certain teachers will always stand out. Ms. Zelenka could put the fear of God in a student but she cared about every one and to this day she still remembers me. I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Harris before she left. The class was a blast. I also was able to have Mrs. Borovicka when she came back. She is still one of my favorite teachers and her knowledge of Science is amazing. You will never forget the teachers you had there.

Sjn is a really good school. I will admit when I transfered my children here it was a bit challenging with all the homework and classwork, they were so far ahead of where my children were, but with phone calls and meetings the teachers worked with us on a daily basis to reassure us they would not sink on that ship of left behind. Today they love the school and can see the benifit it has on their lives. Academicaly the teacher are well trained and our students can compete with any students on their grade level and feel confident. Also the Iowa Test scores improved across the board. Give SJN a try you wont be disappointed.

I just started going to SJN this year and I really like it there. So does my niece. The teachers really make you feel comfortable and even though the academic level can be a little hard, the teachers help you along the way. SJN is a reallyy good school and I recommend that you should go there.

Our three daughters attend St. John Nepomucene. Our experience with the teachers, principal and staff in general is great. The teachers are caring and skilled they are ready to encounter any challenge that new and present students could bring to school. They help so many students morally and emmotionally to become succeful academicaly and in any endevior they may engage in their lives when they leave the school. I recommend parents to visit our school. You would be surprised how good they are with the students, how well they communicate with you about your child or childrens.

The teachers push the students to their own limits, and they know what the kids can handle. Madison 7th grade

Education is great!!!!! Teachers are well structured and orgainzied!!! I could write a book on each one!!!! They definitely have HEART!!!! I have 2 boys who attend St Johns...and they love the school. Mrs Wunker is incredible with keeping up with the many reponsiblities that she holds... Father Jasany is wonderful in keeping in touch with the parents and children I recommend to anyone who wants their children to have a well rounded education and the awareness of respect and morals for themselves as well as for others that they attend ST JOHN GRADE SCHOOL

i attended Sjn, until just a little while ago. While attending this school, i did not feel that is was a good school. i expected more from everyone at the school. By the time that i got to high school i was so far behind. i had no idea what we were doing in any of the classes

i went to SJN from k to 8th grade. as a student i didnt like the disaplin and all the hard work but as a adult it was the best thing my parents ever did for me. i was far more advanced then other kids when i got to high school. as a freshman i was learing stuff i had allready learned in 7th grade. the teachers were great. the person who influenced me most in life was my 6th and 7th grade teacher Mrs. Haires. and i would recomend this school for anybody who is thinking of sending there kids there. jeff

My daughter went to St John Nepomucene for 3 year. I loved it. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The school had small intimate classes, approx 22 students per teacher. Offers a great education. A+

My daughter has attended SJN for 5 years. I like the school for their academic and religious teachings. I would like to give recognition to Ms. Zelenka the second grade teacher for her strict but effective teaching techniques. My daughter learned quite a bit from her in the one year she was in her class. Mrs. Wunker the principal is very pleasant, helpful and organized. They have both a spring musical and a play, put on by the second and third graders around christmas time every year. Volunteering for school events and bingo is always welcome. Oh don't let me forget Father Jasney. All though I don't know him very well, he was always very polite and helpful in the few breif encounters I've had with him.
