There is way too much yelling going on in this school! I've heard "shut your mouth" coming from teachers on too many occasions. Obviously lacking is behavioral expectations at arrival and dismissal. This school needs an overhaul!

This school lost some wonderful teachers due to layoffs and transfers. But they still have good teachers there.

My daughter currently goes to Captain Roth. Whenever I go into the school for a visit there are teachers yelling at students. I have overheard and witnessed on several seperate occasions teachers talking to our kids horrible. My daughter came from another more academically challenging school and upon arrival to Captain Roth the older teacher that my child was assigned to tried to convince me that after one week of monitering my child I should put her back to a lower grade. I had her removed to another classroom, where she is doing fine. However, I feel very pessimistic about our children's future in a environment with so much negativity. The school my daughter came from was a positive environment with younger vibrant teachers who still believed that with patience and encourgment they could make a difference. This positive school was Empire Computech before the layoffs! - Concerned
