My child graduated from John Hay 2010 and has completed her college freshmen year successfully. She is now a sophmore and is enjoying her college academic experience. Which means she is on task and her academic experience from John Hay provided her with the ability and skills to succeed academically and sociably. A shout out to John Hay.

I currently am a Second Year at Cleveland Early College High School at John Hay and I am absolutely loving it. The environment is warm, & inviting without being impersonal. The students are amazing as well, coming from a Cleveland middle school where there was a lot of talking back to the teachers & student who got in trouble Early College is like a breath of fresh air. The students are courteous, kind & considerate and they know how to conduct themselves properly and usually are socially mature. There is also absolutely no tolerance for rude behavior, academic failure & lack of dress code. The teachers at Early College genuinely care about the students & will go the extra mile in helping their students comprehend the lessons, I have also heard great things about the teachers in Science & Medicine & A&D. The American Government & Bio1 teachers especially go above & beyond. I would recommend Early College to anyone who is seriously interested in their academics. It is a difficult school in the beginning & if you have a tendency to procrastinate it will seem like you have way too much homework. I'd advise everyone to take advantage of the opportunities & not to procrastinate.

John Hay Early College and John Hay High school as a whole are excellent in every sense of the word. I am a 2011 graduate of Early College at John Hay and during my time there I learned more than I ever did in my life, in addition to that I also took Post secondary work at Tri-C and averaged all A's during my time at Cuyahoga Community College. Currently I am a student at Kent State University and love it. My hard extraneous work at John Hay payed off for me when it was time to not only prepare for college but to apply for college. I was accepted into all my college that I applied to including Ohio State University, Ohio University, and Marietta College as well as my current school Kent State University. I would encourage any student serious about not only their academics but also about their futures to apply to John Hay High School. The statistics don't lie and the 9 out of ten great school rating and the Excellent Ohio Department of Education rating doesn't lie either. It's a stellar school hands down.

John Hay High School received the GreatSchools rating and voted one of the 'Cool Schools' on Fox 8. This school has three great programs: Early College, Science and Medicine, and Architecture and Design. This school is well-deserving of the $20,000. It is a Great School!!! I give this school a five (5) star rating. Keep up the Great work!!

My daughter graduated from Early College at John Hay High School this year (June, 2009). She graduated in three years instead of four, and she also received an 'Honors Diploma'. I highly recommend this school, because 'Education' is the first priority. There is zero tolerance for low GPA's, because the students are taught to strive to be the best.

cleveland school of science and medicine is the best for all students of all races that can come and do well. Now i'm in the 10 grade and that first year was great, i saw many great teachers and students that want to learn. John hay as a whole is like a great Private school in a public setting. Mr.Weber is the greatest and most caring person that this school ever had. I'm proud! and I hope it will get better each year.
