Hi, I'm relocating to Cleveland (most likely around Lakewood) and I was wondering which school(s) would be the best to send my 5 year old, who is in kindergarten? I want her to be in a positive environment at a school. Non-religious, preferably.

Hi nicwok85,

Start here: http://www.greatschools.org/search/search.page?state=OH&q=Lakewood&type=school&gradeLevels=p&gradeLevels=e&st=public&st=charter&st=private

Read the parent reviews, look at the ratings and narrow down your options. Go on the tours and make sure you talk to parents.

Good luck with your move!

Check out the Ohio Department of Education School's grade, Lakewood schools are good, but if you want to check a specific school, or the district you can get the recent grades in this website

You would fall in love with LCA (Lakewood Catholic Academy.) I bet if you took a tour and met the administration you would overlook the fact that it is a Catholic school (since you said you want non-religious.) It is not your run of the mill catholic school.... Not by a long shot!
