Dawson Bryant is the best. Steve Easterling is the principal and he is wonderful. He always has time for parents and students alike. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Band director Tom Zerkle is the best anywhere. Great school. Carla Bennett
This is a good school, don't get me wrong, but I think there should be more activites like a Drama Club or Chours. Most of the students are invloved in sports, but there are some students that aren't as 'athletic' and would like to be invloved with more school activites. Our school really stands out because of football and that's great, but I think there should be more to Dawson-Bryant High School than just sports.
My son actually enjoys going to school and tells me about his classes. He has nothing but good comments about the teachers and staff. My Mom, sibling and I all graduated from DBHS and we think highly of the school system.
I believe he administration and staff care about all children. I like their advise-advisor program. That help students not only with academics but other areas as well. Senior this year
this is a good school with teachers willing to push stdents to do their best. they have challenging classes and loads of extracurricular activities to participate in.
I belive this is by far the best school in Lawrence county. This coming from a proud student there. My parents went there, and so will my children.
Dawson-Bryant High has a fantastic system with their block scheduling of classes. It is set up so each sememster a student has 4 classes then 4 the next semester. They offer several art and music classes including choir. Parents are encouraged to be very involved in school functions. The elementary is equipped with fun, energetic and highly qualified teachers.
My children attended the Dawson- Bryant School systems and I was VERY unhappy with the high school. I would strongly urge parents to send their children to a safe, positive environment, especially if their child is female.
Dawson-Bryant is a great school to go to. Dawson-Bryant has many upper level math and science classes, as well as the best technology department in the county. Students can expect to get a good education from Dawson-Bryant. There are several athletic teams such as football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, bowling, and softball, but none of them ever turn out to be really any good except for the football team that has been doing pretty well the past couple of years. But the best thing at Dawson-Bryant would be their award winning band. The band at Dawson-Bryant has earned numerous superior ratings at local and non-local adjudicated events over the years. There are also many clubs. There is always something for everyone.
I love this school and the people. The sports are great. I could never go anywhere else, especially not in England. From Samantha Lambert
