Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Very good school. Great teachers. They listen and care about the students and your progress. I'm glad I went to the school.

Ft. Hayes Arts and Academic High School is a fantastic school with a 21 year proven record. Many highly successful students in the arts and academic careers have been successful. This is because teachers have very high expectations for all students in the academics and the arts. Expectations require students to learn self-discipline and students grow tremendously through their years there. There are many national and International award winning programs in the arts Teachers are highly qualified.. They have seven Advanced Placement classes to challenge students, vocational programs on campus, and students participate in many programs at the Ohio State University and other colleges. The school celebrates diversity and students are comfortable being themselves. Students often say that the transition to college is easy.

As a graduate of FH, I would like to recommend this school to any student thinking of a specific career path. I took the pharmacy technician class there, and have not only made great advances in this career field thanks to my shooling, but it has put me through college with ease.
