we love this school. The teachers and principal have the best interest of all the children. They all make me and my son feel like apart of one big family. They offer extracurriculars and clubs, and have high expectations for academics and behavior. Two thumbs up.

I am writing to let you know that I am very pleased with the Academy of Columbus. I have five children whom I was home schooling because I was very unhappy with our public school system. Four of my children have special needs . It has been a great experience having my children there. The teachers and staff have worked very hard to give my children the proper education that they deserve. After my children were there for a few weeks, I saw the dedication of the school for the children. It is all about the children Thank you for bringing Imagine Schools to Columbus, Ohio. I believe that it is the best thing that has happened to the children of this area.

I have three sons that have attended CSIA since kindergaten. They are now in the grades 7,5 and kindergarten. This school is wonderful. The teachers and principal show a true love for their job and the children. There is not a big problem with childrens behavior . In my experience the teachers always take the time to find out whats going on with a student to prevent problems. One of my favorite things about the school is the feeling that everyone is 'family' . This is truely a very educational and loving program.

My children have been attending AOC for the past 3 years I can truly say that I questioned the first year only because the principle at the time was just not 2quite principal type to me. I left my children in the school only to find out that there would be a new principle. The new principles are now very involved with all of the children. The teachers at the school are all involved with the children & they really seem to care. My children are currently their, however I may have to transfer them due to some other issues. I would reccond AOC to anyone. I also would like to encourage more parent involvement this also contributes to a great school as well as children's behavior. Again this is an awesome school. We also have to remember that teachers are here to encourage not discourage our children. Thanks AOC.

In response to the review placed March 18, 2008, my daughter attended there for two and one half years. She excelled and they allowed her. In fourth grade, she was placed in 7th grade reading and 6th grade math. As far as the unruly children, they did have a turn over in principals and they suffered for that a short time. They now have excellent people on top,(my daughters old teachers) and I believe the school will thrive again. These people believe in our kids. Thank-you AOC. I hope to get her back to you

When I decided to place my three boys at the Academy of Columbus, I was excited about the cirriculum and many programs they had to offer. Unfortunately my joy was quickly extinguished when two of my older boys in grades 5 and 6 were faced with many challenges due to the population of children with behavior issues. The staff sadly does not possess the skills needed to deal with children from a variety of backgrounds. I guess I should be thankful that I was blessed with children who love to learn and have always brought home nothing short of a 3.8 grade point average. But the environment is not condusive for parents and children who care about the success of their educational future.
