Moler is a wonderful school! All the children are sweet and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! You can tell through their classroom instruction that they genuinely care about each and every child. I would gladly recommend this school to anyone not only because of the people there, but also the great environment that they provide. Though the test scores are low, you have to take in consideration their life outside of school. A teacher can only do so much in the classroom and cannot control what goes on outside. The love and support that these teachers provide is way more beneficial to these children than the academic information.

I went to this school in second grade, and I have to say that their test results are poor, and the learning experience is very unorganized. I would never recommend this school to anyone unless you want your child to not suceed.

This school is a wonderful school. It is a family school, I love the staff and I appreciate the care my children received while attending 2008-2009 school year. Both of my children's reading level as increaseed significantly!

In 2010-2011, the Ohio Department of Education used the Value-Added Measure to show how much growth students made on the Ohio Achievement Test since the last school year. The state expects that student test scores will show an average year's worth of growth compared to test scores from the previous year. Ohio's Value-Added Measure is not the same as Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), a federal measure which uses different criteria.

About the tests


Ohio uses the Performance Index to provide an overall indication of how well students perform on its standardized tests each year. The Performance Index scores are based upon how well each student does on all tested subjects in grades 3 through 8 and 10. Schools and districts earn anywhere from 1.2 points for each student scoring at the advanced level to zero points for each untested student. The Performance Index ranges between 0 and 120, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
