This is thee worst college prep school that nearly destroyed my son's outlook on school entirely. They do not pay attention to their students that are having problems with their ongoing bullies or any teacher who has issues with other races of children, yes its true. I feel terrible for letting my kid ever attend this school, its awful.....Once I was waiting for an appointment near the office and saw a young man put his hand down the front of his girlfriends pants until he caught me staring at him in disbelief.....I was shocked that the school has virtually no control whatsoever over their student behaviours.....throwing condoms (health hazard) on the bus, lewd language and conduct in the hallways, fighting out in the parking lot, teachers who are more interested in being on facebook during classes, talking on their cell phones....I do not recommend taking a chance with your childs education at this school!!!!!! My daughter is enrolled for her freshman year at The Charles School. Emails to teachers are returned within a couple of hours. When asking a math teacher about finding a tutor she offered to stay after on her own time to assist my daughter. Emails to office staff are returned within an hour and with all needed information. This is a school that is custom made for students who are frustrated with school and are intimidated by college. Those who want to attend but feel overwhelmed. The Charles school helps students get ready for the SAT, navigate picking what courses to start with in college, and coaches them so that when they take classes at Ohio Dominican no one knows they are still a high school student unless they ask the student. It really does allow a child to get the most socially akward first year or so of college taken care of while still living at home where the lights are on, food is in the fridge, and mom and dad still can enforce curfew - unlike sending a student off to college and hoping that they can focus on scholastics when they are in the most unregulated social environment many have ever been in.
