My daughter goes to this school. I can tell that the teachers helped her so much. And she really likes thos school. I hope to send my son here too!

Siebert is one of Columbus' best kept secrets. The school has focused leadership, a diverse student body and teachers who geniunely care about the sudents. I love the fact that it is a uniform school and the fact that if parents choose not to participate in uniforms that their children are not penalized. The support staff works equally hard for the children and the peak teacher really works hard with the children who have a hard time getting it together. Children leave kindergarten know how to read well and that says a lot! Although it is a small school it is big in so many ways.

My son is in 2nd grade at Siebert and has been a student there since Pre-K. Siebert has a very warm and nuturing learning enviroment. I belive the teachers and Principal are hands down, the best in the business. I would recommend Siebert to any parent looking to enroll their child in school.

In 2010-2011, the Ohio Department of Education used the Value-Added Measure to show how much growth students made on the Ohio Achievement Test since the last school year. The state expects that student test scores will show an average year's worth of growth compared to test scores from the previous year. Ohio's Value-Added Measure is not the same as Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), a federal measure which uses different criteria.

About the tests


Ohio uses the Performance Index to provide an overall indication of how well students perform on its standardized tests each year. The Performance Index scores are based upon how well each student does on all tested subjects in grades 3 through 8 and 10. Schools and districts earn anywhere from 1.2 points for each student scoring at the advanced level to zero points for each untested student. The Performance Index ranges between 0 and 120, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
