Cruiser School has offered individualized special assistance to myNephew who should be on an IEP, but for several reasons has not been for about 4 years. With a learning disability like his, concentration in a fast paced classroom is not adequate for the focus and attention he needs to absorb all the information. When I explained his need to the Principal he assigned my nephew to a computer in a from without other students and a teacher to assist in any questions or directions he needed. The Counselor, Mr. Dobbins, has given him emotional support and encouragement to succeed. I am grateful for the concern and individual attention the Staff has shown to help one student to be successful.
