RAMA is working intensely & tirelessly to improve from its lackluster former leadership (as Providence Academy). By hiring dedicated & talented educators, implementing proven structure systems, and growing their multi-media offerings; RAMA is positioning itself to be one of the city's most sought after charter schools.

Renaissance Academy is an up and coming community school. Although it has only been in existence for 4 1/2 years and that the school had some major issues at its conception, I have seen a transformation over the last 3 years. Although the scores aren't where the school and the parents want them to be at this point, the scores have consistently increased over time. My daughter has excelled in her studies and I'm thankful for the teachers and the staff for their hard work. All good things take time and it is a process to building a great school. Just check them out!

RAMA is growing. There are few schools where you can be sure you count. You are not a number. Your individual abilities are valued. You can count on everyone around you to support your hidden talents. The bar is set high and you are expected to succeed. The people around you will do what they can to get you there.

This is a great school! They have educated teachers that care for the students, small classroom size, they provide after school tutoring and direct intervention.

Renaissance Academy (formerly known as Providence Academy) has made many positive strides in the past 3 years. We raised our test scores by 20% in 2012, we scaled back to serve students in grades K-8, instead of K-12, to be sure that we gave our students a good and sound academic foundation. From year to year we employ at least 90% of highly qualified staff. We encourage community involvement, health and wellness, and our students being overall good citizens. We believe that ALL children can learning if given the right resources, tools, and support. Come check us out for yourself. You will be presently surprised.
