This is the first private school in 13 years that I actually feel like I am getting my $$$ worth. All the teachers are motivating and caring. They truely know how to motivate and challenge the already bright student.

I've been at CVCA for 2 years now..i love the school i love the teachers and the kids are all really nice! I live far away from the school, its like an hour drive from my house to the school, but its totally worth the ride..i love it! Go Royals!

I really can't believe what I am readind. Every since the 7th grade my daughter has had a very hard time at this school. Each year we give it another try. The children are not friendly and they do bully , and the staff does nothing about it. I have been a Christian for over 30 years and find it very upsetting the way this school operates. And hides behind the Bible. The education is ok,but I feel that you can enroll you child in Hudson City Schools and get the same education, because they use the same books. There so much more that I can say but I'll just leave it at I would not recommend this school to anyone that expecting a real Christian school.

I have graduated two students from CVCA, and I currently have one enrolled. I will send the younger two, as well. The administration is godly, the teachers are professional and kind, and the quality of the extra curricular activities is outstanding. Additionally, the school is very safe. Students don't even lock their lockers. Student behavior is very good, and it is rare to even hear a swear word in the halls. If you are looking for a school that stresses high academics, service to God and community, participation in sports, drama, and music, and development of an evangelical Christian world view, you can't do better in northeast Ohio than CVCA.

This school is very good. It will help you become closer to God. You have to study at this school, since it is hard. But if you do that, you will have a great experience. I am just entering eighth grade and the friendships I've already made are amazing. I would come over every day from Stow schools, complaining about all the drama of school. There was not one day this year, that I came home upset or mad. The school offers a lot of great things for lots of different people. One other thing that is great is, no 'cliques'. You still have your good group of friends, but everyone hangs out with everyone else. It makes you feel very welcome on the first day of school, especially as a seventh grader. I will definately be here until I graduate.

Even though I loved this school my child did not. This school is not for the struggling student. The school offers many activities but because of the size of the school your child my not make the team of his choice because they can only take so many kids for each sport.

There have not been any downsides to CVCA yet. I have one personally problem with it as a student. The Guidence office does not encourage the students enough to try their hardest. I signed up my freshman year for a schedule with no study halls for one semester. I have been told that there were other students with lower GPAs than me in biology, also more students took Biology than Physical Science. The guidence counslor told me that I had too tough of a schedule and that I might want to lighten up. They told me again this year and tried to show me that I wouldn't have enough room for everything, which ultimately failed. CVCA has strong academics, but sometimes i wonder if it is truly a college prep.

CVCA is an excellent college prep school with a strong focus on Biblical truth and teaching. The academic strength of this school can not be touted enough. There is as much opportunity for extracurricular activities here than at most public schools. Teachers are very concerned with communicating with parents and ensuring an excellent relationship between family and school. In fact, CVCA is like a big family.
